Hey everyone,

So in August & September im helping raise money for to charity's. Teenage Cancer Trust and Kieran Maxwell Fund. The 1st fundraising event is the T.C.T which is in august (26th-27th) This event will take place in Homebase in Whitby. (more details to post later when i know more)

The next fundraising event im doing is the Junior Great North Run in September (15th) This year i am running for Kieran Maxwell who i found about by bbc news (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18477538 Olympic torch: Kieran Maxwell continues after fall with torch.) When i saw this article about Kieran, i wanted to know more about him. So i went to his website ( http://www.kieran-maxwell-fund.co.uk/ ) and found out he is a Ewings Sarcoma Surviver and that he is raising money for his to get a new prosthetic leg. After i found this out i decided that i would help him and raise funds by running the junior great north run.

Sadly i cant set up a JustGiving account for him as he is not a registered charity, but there is another way you can sponsor me/give kieran money. And thats by going to this website --> gofundme.com/p2cwk  if you would like to sponsor me by that website please can you put in the little comment box when you donate #LeahJGNR so i can keep track of how much i have raised for him. If you live in Whitby, North Yorkshire, you can sponsor me by donating money in the charity buckets i will be putting in shops (more details as soon as i get the buckets)

Thank you for reading my blog and please help me raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust and Kieran Maxwell Fund! :)
